Omena Hotel Helsinki City Centre

I really appreciated the central location. Just a short stroll to the train station and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The self check-in system with the entry code was smooth and efficient. My room was spacious with a tv and a well-equipped kitchenette, allowing me to make simple meals. There was a lack of cleaning in the room. Dust was noticeable on ledges, and the bathroom could have used more attention. The windows didn't open, made the air stuffy at times. Decent for budget travel.

Had functional king room with kettle, microwave plus comfy bed. Extra facilities such as a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge were really useful. The location was very central, just next door to several coffee shops, a nepalese restaurant, Chili, a supermarket, internet terminals and a Hesburger and the main central sights in Helsinki.

Good for the group of travellers. No staff at all which means you pay just for your stay in the room, not for ephemeral services. You get sms with the door-code few hours in advance and use it for everything: 1st door, 2nd door, elevator, door to your floor, entering the room... Thanks God you do not need it for taking a shower :) There is everything for the tea/coffee in the room, even microwave-oven. Perfect location.

Only electronic self-service without any reception. It was surprise for me cause I ain't found this information about hotel on it's official website (also this information is not available on hotel description page on Booked.net)

Position and value for money bit of a tight squeeze though for 4 adults

It was just a well-suited match for a city break in Helsinki with very good value for money. The location was super convenient, just a quick stroll to the train station. If you're traveling with larger luggage, bring a little extra help since the rooms can get cramped.

- Too many code locks between main entrance to the room - water may run out from the shower tray to outside

there is no assistance in hotel, so nobody can help us to fix problem with TV, calls to their call center - useless, they promise but did not sent anybody. the claeaning once in five days, so your garbidge bin becomes smell bad soon

Wi-fi was strong, tv helpful for downtime. Room too warm, no window ventilation.

The stuff where amiable and assisted me greatly. The location was particularly good, a 10-15 minute walk from a contemporary art museum. Plus, it was near the downtown and several coffee shops, a nepalese restaurant, Chili, a supermarket, internet terminals and a Hesburger👌🙂

It's situated very comfortably, the railway station is 10 minutes on foot.

It's very small. There were two of us and it was small for us, can't even imagine how would we sleep there if there were four of us. Wi-fi wasn't working btw.

Loved the superb location with tons of eateries nearby and easy access to transport. A quiet, comfortable room.

Security. Closeness to transport and shopping in Helsinki. Room was comfortable and warm

Sometimes room was too warm but couldn't adjust the temperature. Stayed for over 5 days, larger rubbish bins or another place we could drop off the rubbish (E.G. empty boxes, empty drink bottles etc)

Fridge not working well, towel not changed everyday, stayed 1 week and room was serviced only once
